Shipping Methods
At CraftsJa, we offer two shipping options to get your authentic Jamaican crafts to you safely and efficiently:
Knutsford Express Courier
We partner with Knutsford Express to provide reliable island-wide delivery service. Your items will be shipped to your selected Knutsford Express location for pickup.
Local Pickup
You can choose to pick up your items directly from the vendor's location. This option is free and gives you the opportunity to meet our artisans in person.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- Selected Knutsford Express location
- Package weight and dimensions
Exact shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. For an approximate idea of shipping costs, please refer to the table below:

Note: These are estimated ranges. Actual shipping costs may vary based on specific destination, package weight, and dimensions.
Processing Time
Most items are handmade or crafted to order, which means they take time to prepare before shipping. Processing times vary by vendor and product:
- Ready-to-ship items: 1-2 business days
- Made-to-order items: 3-7 business days
- Custom or personalized items: 5-14 business days
The processing time for each item is listed on the product page. This time is not included in the shipping transit time.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships to the Knutsford Express location, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your pickup details. You can also view your order status in your account dashboard.
For Knutsford Express deliveries, you'll need to present a valid ID when collecting your package.
Packaging
We take great care to ensure your items arrive safely. All products are securely packaged to protect them during transit. Many of our vendors use eco-friendly or recyclable packaging materials wherever possible.
Fragile items receive extra protection with appropriate cushioning materials to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.
Shipping FAQ
What happens if my package is damaged during shipping?
If your package arrives damaged, please take photos of the damaged packaging and contents and contact our customer service team within 48 hours of pickup. We'll work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
You can change your selected Knutsford Express location if the order hasn't been processed yet. Please contact customer service immediately if you need to make changes.
How long will Knutsford Express hold my package?
Knutsford Express typically holds packages for up to 7 days. After that, unclaimed packages may be returned to the sender, and additional shipping fees may apply.
What if I can't pick up my order at the scheduled time for vendor pickup?
If you've selected vendor pickup but can't make it at your scheduled time, please contact the vendor directly or our customer service team to reschedule. Please note that items are only reserved for 48 hours after the scheduled pickup.
Do you ship to locations outside of Jamaica?
Currently, we only offer shipping within Jamaica via Knutsford Express courier service. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
